Institutional-quality IR advisory. Without the institution.
We advise public companies on investor relations and capital markets, from the discipline of every quarter to the moments that reset a story: turnarounds, restructurings and new listings. Every engagement is led by a senior practitioner who has done this work from inside a public company.
Founded by Mohammed Topiwala, former Vice President of Investor Relations at Weatherford International (NASDAQ: WFRD), who was instrumental in taking the company from under $200 million in market value to nearly $10 billion.
Small- and mid-cap companies tend to get IR one of two ways: from an agency that hands the work to junior staff, or from an internal team stretched across earnings, filings and investor meetings. We built Vizara as the alternative.
Senior people do the work
You work directly with an advisor who has run the earnings call, taken the hard questions and briefed the Board. Your story is never handed down to an account team.
We've been through a turnaround from the inside
We have guided a company out of restructuring: a shareholder base of former bondholders turned owners, an equity story rebuilt from scratch and an uplisting to NASDAQ. We know what it takes to win back the market's trust.
We know who to put you in front of
We have long-standing relationships with sell-side analysts at the marquee firms, and we speak the language of every part of the buy side: deep value investors, hedge funds and the biggest long-only managers. We know how each will underwrite your story.

Mohammed Topiwala
Mohammed founded Vizara Advisors after more than 18 years in investor relations, capital markets and M&A. As Vice President of Investor Relations at Weatherford International (NASDAQ: WFRD), he was instrumental in the company's turnaround. He guided a shareholder base of former bondholders into long-term ownership, made the case for uplisting on NASDAQ over the NYSE, and led the roadshows and analyst outreach that rebuilt its coverage. He also designed Weatherford's first shareholder return program. Earlier, he led corporate development and finance at Archer Well Company through a business turnaround, and began his career on the Private Equity side at Wexford Capital.

Services
Investor relations for companies the market hasn't caught up with yet.
Newly listed or uplisting
You have just listed, or you are moving up to a national exchange. We help you choose the exchange, build the equity story and get in front of the right holders from day one.
Coming out of a restructuring
Your bondholders are now your shareholders. We help you manage a register that still thinks like a creditor and move it toward long-term owners.
Under-covered and under-owned
The business has changed, but the coverage and the shareholder base have not. We build the case for sell-side coverage and target the investors who should own you.
Going through a transaction
An acquisition, a divestiture or a strategic reset. We prepare the market, shape the announcement and carry the story through integration.
Facing an activist or a credibility gap
When confidence slips, we rebuild it with disciplined messaging, a consistent cadence and the right conversations with the right holders.
Building the IR function
No full-time IR officer yet, or one stretched too thin. We stand up the program, run it and hand it over when you are ready.
