Mohammed Topiwala
Mohammed founded Vizara Advisors after more than 18 years in investor relations, capital markets and M&A.
As Vice President of Investor Relations at Weatherford International (NASDAQ: WFRD), he was instrumental in the company's turnaround. He guided a shareholder base of former bondholders into long-term ownership, made the case for uplisting on NASDAQ over the NYSE, and led the roadshows, non-deal roadshows and analyst outreach that took sell-side coverage from zero to ten analysts. Long-only institutional ownership rose from under 10% to over 40% in three years, and the company's market value went from under $200 million at the 2020 low to nearly $10 billion. He also designed Weatherford's first shareholder return program.
Before Weatherford, he led corporate development and finance at Archer Well Company through a business turnaround, and began his career on the Private Equity side at Wexford Capital.
He works closely with sell-side analysts at the leading firms and with investors across the buy side, from deep value funds and hedge funds to the largest long-only managers.
